Get involved in ICT for sustainable homes 2010

ICT for sustainable homes 2010 offers exclusive opportunities to get involved in a key conference and exhibition in Europe devoted to information communication technologies applied to the sustainable homes.
ICT for sustainable homes, now in its 2nd year in a row, is organised by Sigma Orionis in cooperation with the Beywatch FP7 project – winner of the Best ICT for Energy Efficiency project Award – under the aegis of the European Commission (DG Information Society and Media). This year, ICT for sustainable homes will also feature a Scientific Workshop on Energy Efficient Homes and Neighborhoods, organized by the Beywatch project and intended to be a forum of specialists coming from both universities and industries, involved in research activities in areas related to energy efficient homes. More details about the Scientific Workshop, including the Call for papers, can be found in the conference focus section of this website.
Building upon the success of the 2009 edition, the event is growing: it will feature a Scientific Workshop and more spac for the exhibition. ICT for sustainable homes expects to increase its impact on the ICT and sustainable home communities this year, offering its partners the opportunity to take advantage of key promotion benefits.

The ambition of the ICT for sustainable homes conference and exhibition is to foster the interaction between researchers and business decision makers active in this emerging market, hence annealing the outcome of R&D activities into the creation of new business opportunities. The event will also allow researchers to identify opportunities for international research collaboration under the ICT Theme of EU Research Framework Programme 7 (FP7).
